The Shimano SM-RT86 Ice Tech rotor offers proven, high-performance braking with a heat-managing 3-layer stainless steel-aluminium-stainless steel construction. The aluminium core accelerates heat dissipation, reducing rotor surface temperatures by up to 50°C under load. When paired with Shimano Ice Tech or Gorilla Brakes Pro Ceramic pads, braking temperatures can drop from around 400°C to 300°C - resulting in noticeably less fade, reduced noise, and extended pad life. A large forged alloy spider boosts structural rigidity while cutting weight, and the precision-machined rotor face ensures excellent pad contact, cooling, and debris clearance. Finished in black and silver with a 6-bolt mounting system, the 203mm SM-RT86 rotor is ideal for trail, enduro, or eMTB builds - and pairs seamlessly with the HEL Advocate brake system for consistent performance lap after lap.
