The Shimano RT-MT905 Ice Tech FREEZA rotor delivers high-end braking performance through a 3-layer stainless steel-aluminium-stainless steel construction engineered for maximum heat management. The aluminium core rapidly disperses heat, reducing surface temperatures by up to 50°C during braking. Paired with Shimano Ice Tech or Gorilla Brakes Pro Ceramic pads, temps drop even further - from around 400°C to 300°C - minimising fade, noise, and wear for consistent, reliable braking. A large forged alloy spider-design increases rigidity while cutting weight, and the refined rotor surface enhances pad contact, clearing, and cooling to boost pad life and performance. Finished in black and silver with a 6-bolt mount, this 180mm rotor is built for aggressive trail and enduro riding where heat control matters most and is perfectly combined with the HEL Advocate brake system.
